Welcome to Accredited Counselling
We are a small group of accredited counsellors and psychotherapists based in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire area. We offer a friendly, professional and confidential therapy service. Our counselling rooms are both private and comfortable in a variety of select locations.
Because we are fully accredited counsellors/psychotherapists of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy we are also registered on the BACP Therapist Register Approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

Our mission is to work with you towards improving your mental health and wellbeing. We believe the therapeutic relationship should be built upon trust, respect and honesty. As therapists we endeavour to plan an individual programme of support that will meet your needs. We will be truly interested in your recovery and wellbeing.

We adhere to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy Ethical Framework for Good Practice and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy.

Approach
Your therapist will offer you an approach tailored to your individual needs. We will provide you with a safe, confidential space in one of our comfortable locations near to you. Together we will explore how you think and feel about the issues you want to discuss. This may not change external circumstances or other people, however it can assist you to develop improved coping strategies and manage your problems more effectively.
